Free Roof Inspections
Free, no obligation, and a straight answer either way — including when the answer is that your roof is fine.
An inspection is worth doing after any significant storm, before buying a house, and every few years once a roof is past ten. It costs nothing and it is the only way to know what is actually up there.
The part that matters is what you get told afterwards. Plenty of companies inspect for free because they intend to find something. We would rather tell you the roof is fine and be the people you call in three years when it is not.

What to know
What we actually look at
Shingle condition and granule loss, flashing at every penetration, the chimney, valleys, the roof edge and fascia, the gutters, and attic ventilation. Not a walk around the yard with binoculars.
Drone where it makes sense
On a steep or complicated roof, aerial photos show things a ladder cannot reach and give you pictures of your own roof to keep.
Before you buy a house
A general home inspection does not include a proper roof inspection. Knowing whether a roof has three years left or fifteen is worth having before closing, not after.
Including when nothing is wrong
If the roof is fine we will tell you it is fine. That is the whole value of a free inspection from somebody who is not desperate for the work.

Is the inspection really free?
Yes, free and with no obligation. There is no fee and no pressure at the end of it.
How long does it take?
Usually under an hour for a typical house. Larger or more complicated roofs take longer.
Do I need to be home?
It helps, because it means we can walk you through what we found while we are standing there. But it is not essential.
